26/11/08 - Lightweight Medical, Onzo Join Forces
Lightweight Medical, the Glasgow-based product development company, and Onzo, the leading designer of home energy management systems, have decided to pool their resources in a single company. As a result all the Lightweight Medical team has joined Onzo and will be based at the company’s office and studio in central London.
01/04/08 - £2million investment secured for Onzo
Sigma, investing from the Sigma Sustainable Energy Fund II and SSE have each invested £1 million. In addition, SSE has placed initial orders worth over £7 million with Onzo for the company’s energy display products and specialist data services. As part of this major order, SSE has secured exclusive rights to Onzo’s products and services covering the UK and Ireland.
29/03/08 - red dot design award win for ACR
ELEMENT ZERO_SIX added another trophy to the cabinet, when their Ambulance Child Restraint (ACR) was recognised with an Honourable Mention at this year’s red dot design awards – ‘the Oscars of the design world’.

Director of Medical, Rory Wilkinson will be presenting at the BioDundee Conference in the ‘Maximising Value Through Design’ section.

Business Development Director, Neil Farish will be attending the 4 day Health 3.0 summit as part of our commitment to keeping abreast of the latest innovations, business models and new thinking in healthcare. These visits help reduce time during project research phases, as we can continue to evolve our knowledge.
